The flat-sealing brass beer hose nipple is a proven solution for connecting beverage lines to standard 5/8-inch threaded connections. Thanks to its flat-sealing design in combination with a separately available seal, it provides a reliable and leak-free connection in dispensing systems and other beverage technology applications.

Installation instructions:

1. Insert seal:
   The grommet is flat-sealing, which means that a suitable flat gasket (clear or black, food-grade) must be inserted into the wing nut before installation to ensure a tight seal.

2. Hose assembly:
   The beverage hose should be slightly warmed (e.g., with warm water) for installation to make it easier to slide on. Then push the grommet firmly into the hose.

3. Securing:
   For safety reasons, we recommend using a suitable hose clamp (e.g., 1-ear clamp) and tightening it over the grommet area.

Important note:

It is essential to use a suitable flat gasket to ensure a reliable seal between the grommet and the threaded connection. The grommet itself is not self-sealing.
