Compression fitting for beer lines (G 5/8″) – consisting of compression nipple and compression sleeve

The pinch fitting for beer lines is a robust, reliable connection solution for beverage hoses, specially developed for use in professional dispensing systems, breweries, and bar systems. It consists of two perfectly matched components – the compression sleeve and the compression bushing – and is suitable for connections with G 5/8″ threads, the standard thread in the beverage line sector.

design and components

1. Quetschtülle
   – Inserted into the end of the beverage hose
   – Has a ring collar that supports the hose from the inside and ensures a secure hold

2. Squeeze bushing
   – Is pushed over the outside of the tube
   – When tightened onto the G 5/8″ thread, the bushing squeezes the hose against the nozzle
   – This creates a pressure- and tensile-resistant connection without the use of hose clamps

installation note – how the compression fitting works

1. Prepare the hose end
   – Cut the hose cleanly and at a right angle
   – If necessary, place the hose briefly in warm water to make it more flexible

2. Slide the sleeve onto the hose
   – Pull it over the end of the hose from the outside

3. Insert the nozzle into the hose
   – Make sure that it is pushed in completely and fits flush

4. Screw the bushing over the nozzle onto the G 5/8″ thread
   – Tighten by hand, then secure with a suitable open-end wrench
   – Tightening causes the bushing to deform slightly and presses the hose firmly against the sleeve

5. Check the connection
   – Check for a secure fit and tightness under pressure (e.g., with CO₂ or water)
